I just wanted to type a quick post and share with you one of my favorite blogs. It belongs to one of my favorite photographers in the world...someone who inspires me with every photo she takes.

She also has an incredibly tragic story. She lost a daughter, a beautiful, very young, perfect little girl named Ava. That's probably all I need to say, and you will understand. She lost a daughter.

But she also has an incredibly inspiring story, one that unfolds each day on her blog. She keeps going. And even though I don't know her personally, i am always reading along with her thoughts, trying not to cry but not usually succeeding.

If there were awards to be handed out, I think this family would take the grand prizes for good-lookingness. Talk about good genes! And they could not have been more fun and friendly! I kept thinking that I hope my family is that close and vibrant when my kids are grown. We did our shoot on a beautiful afternoon at a beautiful location...one of my last for a while at this place. I couldn't have asked for a lovelier group to spend a Friday afternoon with!

The afternoon sunlight and I...we're friends.

I see it, shining all beautiful and golden out there, and I must go out for a visit.

And I usually like to bring my camera. :)

Sweet-Part 2 & 3

It's so hot. It really is so hot- today is supposed to be 95 degrees! I have been trying to take advantage of the breezy, beautiful afternoon's that we have been having, before it gets too hot to go out!

So here is Sweet part 2 and 3! Chayse lasted for about 3 minutes before she ripped the hat off and complained that she was too sweaty.

I recently did a newborn shoot for the sweetest couple and their first baby...I had such a wonderful time! There is such a sweet feeling in a home with a new baby. I felt so lucky to share this special time with them! Their little girl is so beautiful, so perfect and precious. Here are few of my favorites-
